I started the Moron of the Year award in January of 2007 because there were a lot of, well, morons in Populous: Reincarnated. At first, the award was nothing more than a simple thread on the forums with a poll asking people who they thought should win the award. I picked three nominees and told everyone they could pick their own and I'd edit the first post, but I soon found out you can't edit polls on forums.
I decided to look into building a website dedicated to the award, and chose Freewebs as my host. Since it was my first try at building a website, it honestly looked terrible. It can still be found here. But thanks to Freewebs' polls and Formbreeze, I got everything working.
I didn't feel like waiting a whole year to start a new Moron of the Year award, so I did one in July with a much better-looking website and better forms. I got even more nominees and votes that year. I had also decided that, instead of being held annualy, the award will be held once in January and once in July.
So now it comes to this. I've changed the layout each award because the first one sucked and people had problems with the last one, but hopefully the new layout will stick and I won't have to make a new one next award.
So if you've read all this, thanks for reading, and enjoy the award!

Rules and Regulations of the Award
The following rules and regulations apply to the Moron of the Year Award. Please read them over before nominating and/or voting.
- You may nominate one person, although you may vote twice.
- People that have been nominated for / have won the award before can still be nominated and votes for.
- I (Suleiman) cannot be nominated. The reason isn't because I'm afraid I'll win it, but because of the fact that I could easily change the number of people that voted for me, it could cause problems with people.
- Have fun with the award.
